Fundraising Events
MOW4PetsNassau presents two annual events: "Rollin' on the River" and "Chili Dinner Concert". Money generated by these popular community events provides operating funds for the organization.
Rollin' on the River
Participants enjoy a relaxing, narrated sunset cruise with wine and food offered on the dock preceding the cruise, and continuing on a two-hour sail with Amelia River Cruises. The cruise departs Fernandina Harbor Marina. The ferry is pet friendly—well behaved, leashed pets are always welcome.
Chili Dinner Concert
Volunteers cook up a truly outstanding chili dinner to treat the taste buds while ears relish some great music! The Songspinners, led by Jane Lindberg, presented fun and fanciful concerts at our 2010 and 2011.
Our 2012 event will feature Fear Buile, a traditional Irish band.
We are indeed a lucky community to have such talented and generous musicians, as well as such outstanding cooks.
